Keepers, who needs them. I say screw the size limits, if you get them into the boat, keep them. After all, little fish taste just as good as the big ones. And we all tend to eat too much anyway. If we keep smaller fish we will eat less. It just mak...what... not fish....fantasy football players. Oh, well that is something else. Nevermind. Putting aside the Emily Luttila's of the world, and the others uninitiated into the world of fantasy football, to those that choose the game wanting some continuity from year to year, keepers, the players whose rights they retain from the previous season, define the foundation for the coming year. The strategy to end the year with a stable full of good choices is second only to making the right choice from that group as we strive for a successful season. The strategizing can not begin too soon, nor can that strategy be held too secret. Having said that, I will now venture to de-mystify the choices facing my fellow GridIron Godz when they select this year's keepers. I do not present these picks with the help of any direct insight from the other owners , so these selections reveal more about me than they do about the other owners, or what they will actually do with their rosters (and I may be totally off base). So, understand right now, you will learn nothing from my list. It is created for my personal entertainment only. You would be a fool to listen to what I have to say. Turn back now and avoid polluting your thought processes. You still here? Okay here goes. For additional details click on the team name and see the other likely player picks the owner may make. At the end I will begin a list of the twenty or so most eligible players not expected to be kept. Additionally, the fourth player listed on each team would be available if the keepers were reduced to three.
